Social Commitment: BNP Paribas Group exceeds CSR goal of “1MillionHours2Help” initiative

One million hours of volunteer work in two consecutive years – that is what we were aiming for with our global 1MH2H initiative. In the end, it turned out to be even more. In the past two years, our colleagues worldwide have volunteered a total of 1,125,000 hours, 616,000 hours in 2022 and 509,000 hours the year before.

In Germany, we are particularly pleased with last year’s numerous team initiatives which the Company Engagement team had called for on occasion of BNP Paribas’ anniversary in the German market. Thanks to these contributions, we were able to double the number of hours of volunteer work throughout Germany in 2022 compared to the previous year up to a total of 14,154 hours! Thematically, the volunteering activities are based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

A thousand (or better: million) times thanks to everyone who contributed to this great success. Here’s to the next million!
