MANN+HUMMEL: With filtration on the way to a clean planet

With 80 international locations and annual sales of 4.8 billion euros, MANN+HUMMEL is one of the world’s leading suppliers of filtration and separation solutions. Founded in 1941, the family-owned company contributes to a clean environment with innovative technology. MANN+HUMMEL is driven by the topics of sustainability, digitisation, and the future of mobility. This connects the company with its financing partner BNP Paribas.

When it comes to clean mobility, clean air, clean water and clean industry, there is not “my” or “yours”. The world we live in, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the ground we walk on have always been common ground. That’s why MANN+HUMMEL is convinced that filtration is a key technology on the way to a clean planet.

As a global leader and expert in the field of filtration, MANN+HUMMEL develops innovative solutions to separate the useful from the harmful. With a wide range of products and services, the company meets the needs of its customers and society and has over the decades evolved from a pure automotive supplier to a global filtration specialist.

Fuel, oil, and air filters as well as innovative filtration solutions for electric and fuel cell vehicles ensure sustainable mobility. Protection against the increasing global air pollution is provided by air and molecular filtration technologies, which are used, among other things, in vehicle interiors, building filtration, industrial applications, and clean rooms. In addition, the MANN+HUMMEL portfolio includes filter media and membrane technologies for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment, as well as for use in sensitive process applications.

BNP Paribas has been a reliable partner of the MANN+HUMMEL Group for many years and most recently supported the company as bookrunner in the placement of an EUR 800 million syndicated revolving credit facility (RCF), the terms of which were linked to the company’s ESG rating. The loan will be used for general financing purposes, including the further expansion of the Life Sciences & Environment segment.
